As the summer approaches Y3K is gearing up for a nice slate of gigs, with several outdoor concerts on tap.
But first we want to announce that Glen Christensen, our hard working soundman, was recently married to his beautiful sweetheart, Sandy. Ren Daversa officiated the private ceremony . Some of you will recall that Ren was once our female vocalist in the band. We wish the best for Glen and Sandy, they are a very happy couple.

So now… what does Randy do??? He’s the new man behind the soundboard.
Randy hooked on with us a few years ago as a Jack-of-All-Trades. He’s been our stage manager, roadie, lighting director, repository of sage and intellect. Basically sharing all that he picked up from working with bands on the east coast. Glen passed the baton on to him, now he’s off and running the mix.

Hey everyone! You’ve been asking about it, so dig. We have another show coming up at Humphrey’s Backstage Lounge, one of the coolest places to hear live music. The date is August 2nd . We will do the happy hour slot starting at 6:00pm, a perfect time to escape the “club scene”, sip a cold one and check out the marina sights. You know, just be So-Cal cool. So mark that date on your calendars and bring your buddy.

OK, so here is what we are looking at for outdoor gigs. These are the community type summer concerts held around the county. All are geared for family fun and entertainment, so you all can make it something special for the kids too.
July 27th Solana Beach Traiathlon/Duathlon, 8:00am, Fletcher Cove, Solana Beach
July 31st Oceanside Sunset Market, 5:00pm, Downtown, Oceanside
August 7th Santee Summer Concerts, 6:30pm, Trolley Square, Santee
August 10th Scripps Ranch Symphony in the Park, 6:00pm, Scripps Ranch.
Sept 21st Escondido Highlands – This one is not confirmed yet, check back later
